Sun Jianbo, male, born in 1976, associate professor, master tutor. Since 2006, he has been working in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is an academic leader of the switched reluctance motor team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He has long been engaged in research on new motor design and control; hosted or participated in several national natural science fund projects and national key research and development plan project, more than 20 school-enterprise cooperation projects and Hubei Province teaching reform research project. 7 patents were granted; nearly 30 papers were published. The "Research and Practice of Switched Reluctance   Motors" project won the second prize of the Natural Science of the   Ministry of Education in 2002; the "Research on the Application of   Switched Reluctance Motors and Controllers for New Energy Vehicles" was won the first prize of Science and Technology Innovation of the Association in 2015.

Dr. Sun has published more than 30 papers in SCI and EI cores, including 5 articles in   SCI, more than 10 articles in EI, and 7 patents granted; Committed to the   research and application of new motor theory, undertaking more than 30 scientific research projects, including 4 national-level projects, and the project “Application Research of Switched Reluctance Motors and Controllers for New Energy Vehicles” won the first prize of Science and Technology   Innovation of China Industry Association.
