Kai Ni was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China on Dec. 28, 1993. He received the B.Eng. (Hons) degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, UK, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology from Dec. 2019 as a postdoctoral researcher with the funding from “Postdoc International Exchange and Import Program”. His research interests include modelling, control and stability analysis of doubly-fed induction machines, power electronic converters, and more-electric aircraft/ship power systems.
