Xinggang Fan was born in Xiaogan, Hubei in Feb. 1992. He received the B.Eng. degree in energy engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. He is now a IEEE Member, and a reviewer for several IEEE transaction journals. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with this university. His research interests include electromagnetic-thermal design and analysis of permanent magnet machines, especially those working in the high power density occasions. |

Xinggang Fan is a receipt of National Scholarship for Doctoral Students in 2017 and a receipt of National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents of China in 2019. He leads three projects, targeting to solve the key problems of high power density electrical machines and drives. Up to now, he has published 18 SCI IEEE transaction journals and conference papers, and two papers won the Best Paper Award. Besides, he is a one of the patentors or applicants of 17 national invention patents. |
