This course is the first electrical design course offered by Huazhong University of Science and Technology. It provides a good learning opportunity for graduate students majoring in electrical engineering. It is conducive to further academic and project research in electrical design in the future. This course is taught in English. Introduced world-class teaching materials to help students broaden their horizons, expand their quality, understand the latest international academic achievements, and grasp the latest direction of academic research, while inspiring students' thinking and their strong desire for scientific inquiry; In the course of teaching, a large number of engineering examples that teachers have encountered in the work of internationally renowned companies have been cited, which has increased the intuitiveness and practicality of the course, and at the same time it is conducive to students' understanding and grasp.

The establishment of this course is conducive to innovating the graduate training model, improving the quality of graduate training, and cultivating more innovative talents with international perspectives, knowledge of international rules, and participation in international exchanges. At the same time, the introduction of international advanced educational concepts, innovative graduate training models, and the internationalization of teaching content and methods will also help to broaden teachers' communication channels.
